George is to star in The Best Man an ITV1 two part thriller which is currently in production.
Keeley Hawes is also to star with Toby Stephens and Richard Coyle (Coupling) who play best friends until one of them falls in love with her character, Kate.
George plays Miller, a disgraced policeman whose past haunts him, in the drama written by Russell Lewis. Russell Lewis has also written for other series involving George in the past including, Cadfael, Inspector Morse and The Bill.
